Dinner with Mama's family

Gong Gong, Poh Poh, Kow Fu and Kow Mo had dinner with us at the Ministry of Food on Friday night. Soon when I warmed up to Kow Fu and Kow Mo, it was fun time for me!
" Kow Fu, Kow Mo, what you do wanna eat? I treat you. But you pay first. Will pay you back in 18 years later. "
Cheese, everyone!
Poh Poh fed me green tea ice cream but I love the whipped cream most!! Yum! Yum!

With Gong Gong
Do I look like my Gong Gong?? Technically, if I look like my Mama, I should look like him too cos people said Mama look like Gong Gong......
My Gong Gong and Poh Poh!
After dinner, they brought me to the Barney kiddy ride. I had fun. And my fun was also simply hanging onto Kow Fu and Kow Mo's leg as they walked. Complicated to explain, but it was fun! Hehehehehe.....Then it was time for them to go home, I kept wanting to hang onto them and play with them....Guess the time wasn't enough.
"Kow Fu, Kow Mo, come my house and play with me for a longer time, please!!"

Create my own fashion

Fashion is like art, very subjective. Some designs that you may find them gorgeous, others may think they are strange, or even ugly. But for me, I was taught to have a mind of my own and believe in what I know to be great.

So one day, I took a pair of shorts and shocked the world! I wore it over my shoulders. Then I thought, "Shorts are not enough to keep me warm, I should wear a sleeveless top together with it too..." And so I did. Guess Papa didn't have an open mind for such a radical fashion revolution after all. Well, what do old folks know nowadays......must keep up with times.....

My first fashion revolution started with this pair of cheong Billabong shorts.
Sexy bum bum.....
Posed happily and laughing away at my new creation!
Wacky fashion designer!

"Holy" girl in church

I asked Mama to roll up a piece of bulletin in church and made a telescope. Then after while, I improvised it as I saw the worship leader and choir on stage singing. I placed the "telescope" into the bible/books holder at the back of a pew infront of me and pretended it as a microphone.

Mama was impressed, that's pictorial representation and imaginative play at work! Then I started to sway and sing as if I was the worship leader. Hehehehehe...The girl next to me stare at me, she must be wondering "why on earth are you so hyper. Can't you sit still like me?" Very difficult lor! Every single cell in my body is screaming for me to move about.

Danced on stage

mama just inserted a video of me dancing on a mini stage under "Birthday celebration with Gugu, Gu Zhang and Mama". Scroll down to look at it! :)

A pleasant surprise from Mama's jungle pals

Last Saturday, Papa simply refused to go out of the house. Mama wanted to bring me for a swim or picnic at the park. Just wanted to hang out on a Saturday like we always did. But Papa kept giving excuses like he had to bring the car to fix brakes and asking Mama to rest at home. But clever Mama "smelt" something fishy. She was "nice" pretended she didn't know anything and didn't pry much.
And so she was so bored in the afternoon and dozed off on the couch. I went to disturbed her!
Elliot gorgor and me. Ready to charge out!

Then when she was sleeping in the room, at 4pm plus, she heard the door bell rang and Papa said loudly, "Orr, see Nai Nai is here!" So she was waiting for my excited scream. Usually, when I know my grams are coming, I would be very excited when the door opened. But that afternoon, she didn't hear my excitement when Papa opened the door. (She can be CID/CSI liao. Or papa simply can't be unfaithful to her cos her instinct is really good!) Then it confirmed her "fishy" hunch of Papa having something up his sleeves.

True enough, after a few seconds, she saw Aunty Lynne, Colleen and Beca walked into her room! And Uncle Joel and Wee How was there too! Aunty Meiyen with her boys too. Mama was really touched that they planned this secretly with Papa to come visit her. They even bought muffins to celebrate her birthday! That's what friends are for man! Hehehehehe...
Sabo queen, "Elliot gorgor, you go out first, cos my parents won't scold you.....go, go...go..."
Zach gorgor joined in too. But he had to squat a bit cos too tall!

Sunday after church

At Marina Sq after Sunday service. Papa went to check out SAFRA roadshow. And he let me played a game of soccer!
I managed to kick the ball and hit the target! Clever leh! Kow Mo ever commented that I have very good eye-leg co-ordination. I can kick a ball very well, with great strength and seldom miss the ball.
Mama said she used to wish that I will love soccer when I was in her womb. Huh?! She said she doesn't want me to be a girly girly girl. And wants me to play soccer and rough it out with Kow Fu next time! Yeah! I love soccer. (Hmm...wonder if my younger sibling is a boy, she'll let him learn ballet?!?!? Maybe, my Mama can be such an extremist.)
I hit the target, got 2 Mentos. That older gorgor didn't hit the target at all, also got 2 Mentos. wah, that lady thought I'm a fool is it?!?!? That's not a deal or reward, ok?! And another lady kept showing her bump bump at the camera. Sigh....took up most of the frame space. :P
I'm lil El-gelia! See me rock!
Then Papa let me sat on this kiddy ride. He let me drove it all by myself, of course with his supervision. Not bad, I could steer the wheels left and right. Cool!
See me drive!
Chilling out at a cafe with ice cream waffle and nacho dip.

Papa didn't realise that I was about to be up to no good.
"Hmmm..what happens when I dip my ......"
"...hands into the water...." Papa, "Ay!! No! You can't drink it anymore!"

I was spinning around on the sofa.

Birthday celebration with Gugu, Gu Zhang and Mama

Yeye, Nai Nai, Papa, Mama, Gugu and Gu Zhang (and me, of course!) went to the HomesTeam at Balestier for a dinner celebration for the Feb babes. Gugu, Gu Zhang and Mama's birthday were all in Feb.
We looked so loving, right?! Actually, I was about to pull Mama close to me, cos I said, "My friend." And I would hug that person!
Funny actions again.
"My friend!"More like strangle.
"We are buddies!" That's more like it.
Silly friends....
" Pull you ear, Papa. You never listen to me!"
Family pic.
Gugu and me.
I made Gugu walked up the stairs with me because no one wanted to!
Hi ten! Or is it twenty!?
My all-time playmates!
Gugu and me on the stairs.
I refused to take photos with anyone at the lobby, but only with my favourite playmates.
Yeye tried to hijack me to take photos, but I just sat apart from them. Look at my expression.
Then he used force. No use, I'm stronger than you think!! Watch me wriggle away from the clutches of the "black force."
He caught me again! But I only wanted to stick close to Gugu and Gu Zhang. So I wriggled with my last ounce of strength! I'll do anything for what I love!!!!!! Let me go!

But then, when playmates were gone, Nai Nai and Yeye were my favourites again.....

I saw a mini stage at the restaurant and went up there to sing and dance. I even bowed and said, "Xie Xie" after my "performance".

My Mama's birthday

Papa brought Mama to enjoy a Teppanyaki dinner that Mama had been dying to have since she saw it at Food Republic, Wisma. Nai Nai kindly volunteered to look after me while they could have a peaceful dinner (thanks, mother!).

The lamb and chicken tasted so-so, overly spiced. Their favourite were the green veg and bean sprouts. Duh?!?!? In the pic, themeat wasn't served yet.
Then they quickly got home after dinner to see me, of course! Took some photos with my Mama. Notice I was wearing a pair of shorts on my shoulders??! Ya, fashion lies in the eyes of the wearer!
I told Mama to do this with the mouth.
And this!
Then this!
Some more!
We are great posers!
Then when Mama got home, she had a great surprise when she came out of the bathroom. Papa came to her with a heart-shaped ice cream cake! Mama's favourite.
A kiss from Papa.
And Papa bought Mama a key pouch. Papa is really a doting father and husband.(Thanks, honey! :***)

I played guitar with Papa singing, "Happy Birthday" to Mama.
