I couldn't wait to sing the happy birthday song because I started to clap my hands to indicate the song already. I gave my papa a birthday hug and kiss too. Later that day, my parents spent their day together while Nainai looked after me. Will tell you more in another post what they did without me! :(
At night, Yeye, nainai, gugu and uncle Jack joined in to celebrate with Papa too. We went to (er...I can't recall the name of the restaurant now, but it's another one of Tung Luk's branches lah)Novena Square. While they were eating, I ate Koropo (not sure about spelling--crackers)and biscuits and nibbled on some of the food they ate too. But after a while, I was "unleashed" again!
I ran round the table and followed one of the friendly waitresses around. She wanted to carry me, but too bad, I hate to be restrained, I preferred to follow her around. When I was going out, I waved and said, "Bye bye!" to all I met along the way. Mama couldn't stop me after that as I continued to do so with strangers outside the shops and toilet! Hehehehehe.....yes, me again--the social butterfly.
Papa's here's something from my heart (well, or at least Mama knew I would say this if I can talk better!).
"Papa, you're the best Papa I could ever ask from God. God has chosen you to be my Papa so that I can see a little reflection of my heavenly Father. Thank you for all your love, sacrifice and selflessness, because of you, I am a happy child today. Though I would feel sad when you discipline me from time to time, I know deep down you still love me.
If not, you wouldn't be giving me so many piggy back rides, cuddles, hugs, kisses and toys! So on your special day today, I wanna pray that God will bless you with more than you could ever imagine or ask for. I pray that God in His abundance and His love for you will shower you with wisdom; so that you can guide our family to higher grounds, blessings; so that you can bless God and others back even more, love; so that you have the capacity to forgive and faith; so that you will never fear but trust that God is always with you no matter what you are going through.
