My thoughts

In my more than 14 months as a child, I soon came to observe some things about adults (some). As I'm usually very friendly and sociable; I will wave, smile and even attempt to play "peek-a-boo" with you if I see you in the street or mall, but I have came to realise that not all adults appreciate it. Strange. So what they want?!

Mama feels bad for me. Think she feels more rejected when some adults simply pretend that they can't see such a cute face infront of them, happily trying to make great attempts at making friends with them. It's obvious that they ignored me. You know what I'm talking about. They have that go-away-I-don't-like-to-play look. But hey, I haven't had that same feeling as Mama, because to me, I just love smiling and waving to people, yes, even though they're not looking at me!

God says, "give, without asking for anything in return..." And I find it a true pure joy to share my love and joy with others, even if no one is reciprocating. Mama has learnt something. It's no wonder that God told some adults in the bible to be child-like.

And some adults also walk like as if the world belongs to them. They can run (walk) me down as I mind my own business walking in the mall. Fell down last night at Suntec when a man walked behind me and knocked me down. Thank God I am fine. Mama was very angry at that fat man. She thought that man could be more careful since he was walking in a children's department (what was he there with a bunch of men, I wonder too). There were other kids like me too.

Some adults can be so oblivious to kids like me. Children of the world, combine our forces we must! We may be small, but we are strong (in the Lord)! Let these adults know that they are not the only living creature on earth!

Hippo is sleeping

On my way to celebrate Poh Poh's birthday, I fell asleep in the car. Mama said I looked exactly like Papa when I slept like that! But like what Papa will reply, "Like that I get more oxygen!" hahahhaa....
And notice I put my arms out of the straps? Just feel it's more comfortable this way! Mama always get frustrated with adjusting my arms back because when she's not looking, I'll slip them out again! :P Oh, then she'll use Uncle Policeman to scare me. Aiyah, me not stupid lor! Say so many times, but still doesn't see him. I don't believe her already!

At Papa's driver seat

I like to sit (I mean stand!) at Papa's driver seat. But Papa will only let me when the car is parked, of course, if not Uncle policeman will scold (Mama always says that!)

After church service, we had to wait for other drivers to remove their vehicles. So while we were stuck inside, I would play with the signals and steering wheel.
Ay! See what see! (2 gangster drivers! Get out of the way!)
I will get excited when I'm put at the driver seat! Papa said he'll let me drive his car when I grow up (with a license, of course!). A deal is a deal, Papa!

Attended my first wedding banquet

I was all ready to attend Papa's friend's wedding banquet! But, wait! I still had some time to play soccer while Mama was still busy making-up! Let's do the bishan wave!

Mama bought this cottony soccer ball for me. I like to kick it, but most of all, throw it in the air. Hmm...maybe she should get me a basketball instead?!

New Year Eve with Papa's friends

My favourite, Barney

My favourite is still Barney! I will dance and clap when Barney's played. My favourite songs are "Barney theme song", "I love you", "Mister Sun", "Yellow blankey" and lots more!
I love hugging the muscial Barney soft toy too when it sings "I love you". I can pat and kiss it! Mama left it in the car in case the journey gets boring for me( and I can make a big fuss, mind you!).
Hmm..maybe next in my collection shall be Baby Bop! She's so cute, like me! :)
