Last Saturday was grandaunt Becca's wedding. So morning, we went to Wesley Methodist Church for the church ceremony and The Regents for banquet at night. I almost couldn't make it that day because I had flu and phlegmy cough early that week. Thank God I was better by Friday.
Had a great time at church as I was more alive and active. I was happily being carried around or "lured" away by many different people. During the tea reception, I also stood in last minute as the Public Relations Officer. I shook hands and asked the guests, "How are you?" Some people that even my parents didn't know! I was super duper friendly despite the killer weather outdoor. I refused to sit on the chair and ate my proper lunch. One of those things that my mama just couldn't fathom why. For her, she would look for the shadiest spot, get her food and sit/eat. Mama can't "function" when she is all warm and sweaty.
But as for me, I love to get up and about. That's when I can "function" well. :) Being with people just energizes me, oh that is when I'm in the "ok" mood.
Not for the night though. I was given a dose of flu medi and that made me drowsy and cranky. I stuck to papa at the dinner table, refused to sit in the high chair. Papa only managed to coax me to sit on the high chair's table because he needed to eat! Inspite of my crankiness and stickiness, I would look out for potential people that could get me out of the hall.
So I would ask for Kow Fu, Gong Gong, Kow Mo, just about anyone that I know would carry me away to run about at the lobby. Even my most fearful person, Kow Fu Benji would also do!! It was the first time I dare to go near him. I made his day, I hope! ahahhaaaa....
