Yeye and I were watching rhythmic gymnastics, Olympics on TV one day. And you can't be more cool than this; Yeye actually has a ribbon like those gymnasts had on TV! Yeye's stick of ribbon was nicer though, it was with rainbow colours!
He took it out and let me played with it. So I imitated the rhythmic gymnasts' every move. I tried to do somersaults, but of course, too young for that now, and it was dangerous on a hard floor.
I saw a gymnast lifted her long slender leg next to her head, all the way straight, and I wanted to do the same. But, I couldn't balance on one leg, at least not now. So I "improvised" by lying on the floor and I did it! Mama was amazed how flexible a kid like me can be. It's no wonder certain kids in certain country train their kids to be stuffed inside a small cylinder! So portable! Hehehheee......
For baton(not sure if this is what it's called) segment, too bad, Yeye didn't have one. But then again, I would query why he would have if he has, don't you too?!??!?! So he gave me my toy maracas instead. Well, not exactly the same size, but good enough a substitute for me. Nothing could stop me in fulfilling my dream of becoming the first Olympics gymnast in the Lum family!! Yeah!!
