My thoughts

In my more than 14 months as a child, I soon came to observe some things about adults (some). As I'm usually very friendly and sociable; I will wave, smile and even attempt to play "peek-a-boo" with you if I see you in the street or mall, but I have came to realise that not all adults appreciate it. Strange. So what they want?!

Mama feels bad for me. Think she feels more rejected when some adults simply pretend that they can't see such a cute face infront of them, happily trying to make great attempts at making friends with them. It's obvious that they ignored me. You know what I'm talking about. They have that go-away-I-don't-like-to-play look. But hey, I haven't had that same feeling as Mama, because to me, I just love smiling and waving to people, yes, even though they're not looking at me!

God says, "give, without asking for anything in return..." And I find it a true pure joy to share my love and joy with others, even if no one is reciprocating. Mama has learnt something. It's no wonder that God told some adults in the bible to be child-like.

And some adults also walk like as if the world belongs to them. They can run (walk) me down as I mind my own business walking in the mall. Fell down last night at Suntec when a man walked behind me and knocked me down. Thank God I am fine. Mama was very angry at that fat man. She thought that man could be more careful since he was walking in a children's department (what was he there with a bunch of men, I wonder too). There were other kids like me too.

Some adults can be so oblivious to kids like me. Children of the world, combine our forces we must! We may be small, but we are strong (in the Lord)! Let these adults know that they are not the only living creature on earth!
