I was sitting on the bed with a pail vomiting endlessly one night when my sweet little angel came over and patted on my arm whispering, "Love, love, Mama." She gave that sympathetic look and of course, didn't fail to imitate a new interesting scene she had never seen before---someone vomiting. I was both touched and amused.
On occasions when she saw me vomiting again, she would come over to stroke my arm, saying the sweetest words like, "Love love Mama" and "Sorry, Mama". (Think "sorry" to her is the most empathetic word she could use, though not really appropriate for the situation. Or did she really feel sorry for me??)
She meant the world to me and my heart just overflows with so much love for her, even though in its imperfect way at times. Somehow, I wonder if I still have anymore to pour out for another kid. I just can't fathom. How did some parents shower love to so many kids and claim they love them all the same? I really wonder. It's beyond me for now because I can only associate God as my greatest love and I can't imagine to love someone else just the same as I do to Him.
Then I remember God (naturally, I just mentioned Him). He has MANY children. And He loves us all the same, doesn't He? I grew up singing the song, "Jesus loves the little children....all the children of the world...". Now it brings new meaning to me. I cannot imagine how I can love another kid just like I love Evangelia. But I know God can love through me. That's all I need to know--that there is always a well of love I can go to to draw love and all that I need to pour out to my children.
And I thank God for Evangelia for being a blessing to my heart. When I vomited till I tear or cry, she would ask me to remove my spectacles so she could touch my tears. I didn't wanna hide the agony from her. I wanted her to know the process (well, hopefully when she's older and her younger sibling gets naughty, she's my best witness to the words, "Shen Ni Heng Xin Ku! So, please be good!" "It's tough giving birth to you"). No, seriously. I believe a child can learn to know that even parents who always give endless instructions and disciplines, seemingly in superiority, are but humans too. And I want her to grow up having empathy for people.

Zoo, again
National Park
Ye Ye and Nai Nai brought me to the National Parks one day. I have the privilege to constantly get in touch with nature thanks to them. Going to parks and gardens are one of my favourite places because I get to run and explore with just anything my hands can get hold of. Like stones, grass, leaves, twigs and many more. I think classrooms should be in the park!! More fun.
But of course, the adults feel safer as falling down on grass patches are much safer than hard concrete floors.
Here are some pics to show you! (stupid slide.com can't upload on yeye's PC, so can only show a few here. If not too long.)Er...notice I was wearing a croc suit. Mama's favourite animal--so she just had to buy it even if it was meant for boys!!! Now that I am behaving much less like a lady, hopefully, I will not grow up with identity crisis!! hehehe....Don't think so, because I can whine like a true blue girl!

Lum Look-alike Meter
Long time no see
My Mama had not been blogging for me for a long long time. She is not feeling too good nowadays. So needs more rest. But today, she's better. At least can sit up without throwing up like a merlion.
Soon, I may have to share this blog with someone else. I'm ok. Makes my life a little more interesting too. :) Mama and Papa just know I'll make a fine Ga Jie (Big sister).
For now, no pics because we haven't been doing and hanging out much since Mama's down. I'm praying she'll get her divine intervention sooner than expected so we can all have fun during CNY!!! Me want ang baos! Me want ang baos!!
Catch up again!

The Tans came to the Lums'
But poor Joanie, she kept frowning or avoiding me. Guessed I must learn to play gently like a real girl. Mama and Papa had to discipline me alot because at one point, I kicked her with my leg! :( So sorry Joanie Mei Mei. Hope I didn't scare you much. I still wanna play with you again, ok? I'll learn to play well next time.
Playful me. I also wanted to sit on Aunty Agnes' laps. But Jo seemed like she was not liking it at all!
I love you, Joanie! Joanie: "But can don't squash me??!"
My awful pose. Sorry, should do this in the toilet.

All I want for Chirstmas...
On Christmas morning, Mama, Papa and I went to the our Christmas tree and started unwrapping the gifts. I was the biggest winner! 2nd runner up was Papa that morning. Papa and I had gifts way before Christmas arrived.
So I was busy unwrapping all my gifts. This year, I could manage tear apart most of the wrappers myself. What a thrill! Thanks to many uncles and aunties that bought me these gifts, I love them all!
Then in the afternoon, I went to Aunty Lynne and Uncle Joel's house. More gifts for me! Enjoy the pics!
Here's a video of me unwrapping a gift from Uncle Robin and Aunty Irene.
Christmas Eve's Dinner
I had Christmas Eve's dinner at the old Pariss at Taka. Gugu reserved a table for us all. Now it's called "International (Don't know what...) family restaurant". Sorry, Mama was too tired and nauseous to remmeber.
Self-praise, "Good singing"
Here's a clip of me singing at the end of the song, "We wish you a Merry Christmas". At the end of the song, I said, "Good singing." Ahahhaaa....self-praise huh?! I learnt it from Mama who always said that me after I sang a song. So very naturally, I thought it was just appropriate to say that since she was busy filming what!
