I had food allergy (or so the GP said) last week. :( Apart from bad red rashes and swollen eyes, I was up and about, as usual. Doctor said I could be having food allergy, which my parents couldn't seem to tell what food. I hadn't been eating any new food/fruits and even if I had, that was like many days ago--Honey stars. Could be the extreme warm weather?? Hives?? Anyways, life's bad to normal, except that the eye bag areas still look darkened. Gong Gong saw me and thought I was sleep deprived! Hahahaha.... Well, perhaps, I need anti dark eye rings cream sooner than I though?!
Godma came to play with me on Labour Day. I was wearing this blue batik dress that she bought for me too. We went for lunch together and she came home with us for a while. Papa was sick and stayed home too (he was supposed to work that day). Thanks, Godma for visiting me. I like to play with you! :)

Caught red handed
Well, this picture is rather "neat" because he had to stop taking when I THREW ALL the CDs out onto the floor! (busy packing after me) So sorry. You don't get to see the REAL thing. HAhahahahaa...
I was just looking through the Hi-Five and Barney CDs. No biggy. I'm just a kid, too young for even the juvenile court! In a nutshell, WHO CARES!
New favourite show--Hi-Five
My new favourite show is Hi-Five now. I still like Barney though. I love watching Hi-Five because I can dance, sing and listen to the stories. Every weekend, after my bath, I get to watch it (although at Nai Nai's place, I get to watch too!)This is almost an everyday ritual for me now!
You'll be amzed. I learnt most of my shapes, animals, actions and sounds from these videos! Who says TV watching is bad for kids!? HEhehehe...:P But mama would limit to not more than 1 hr a day. Well, good enough for me!

I'm the girl in pretty pink. But guess who's the other cute girl ?! Yes, she's my Mama! Don't we look so alike or what?! Many people say I look like Mama alot. Now I truly believe. I'm so glad! Hahahhaa...ops, sorry Papa! :P
My passport photo taken at Li Ming. The photographer managed to do one take and Papa and Mama were very impressed! All he needed to do was to shake some bells and....wah la! No wonder this studio won so many awards and many politicians go there. Hehehehe....maybe when I become the first female president of Singapore, I'll come here to take my portrait. Hahahha...

Flu bug
I'm sick since last Saturday. I couldn't go out; no church, no shopping malls, no beach, no swimming....:( So miserable. My nose keeps runny, and my cough's bad, worse, I have fever up and down.
Sigh. Mama says staying home to look after me is more tiring than to bring me out for the weekends. I keep running about (strange, the medicine is supposed to knock me out), touching things that I am not supposed to, throwing things out from drawers, climbing on sofa, the list goes on.
Plus, I hate taking medication. So my dear parents had to resort to "force". You need 2 persons to make me swallow the medicines. One to pin me down, the other to force it down my throat. Can I sue them for child abuse?! I guess not. I know they meant well and medicines are absolute necessary. But I just can't open my mouth to take them. No one could make me drink without me putting up my best struggle and cry. Not even my favourite persons; Yeye and Nai Nai.
So this is why my poor Mama and Papa are so tired out. Mama dread medication time because she simply can't harden her heart to put me through this ordeal, yet very much needed so that I can get well. Worse, my appetite wasn't good. So can you imagine, every 4 to 6 hour interval, there's a "war" going on. If you intend to look after me even for a day, you need literal loads of patience and love, and this is not being cliche! And I must say, I am blessed with these wonderful people who really cares for me.
Monday, at Nai Nai's house was cool. I got to watch Hi-Five like nobody's biz, hmm...actually, started nobody's biz since last Saturday lah. Now I'm into Hi-Five! I can watch intently and followed the dances for a good 1 hr! Not good Mama, would say. But since I'm sick and cranky most of the time, they relented.
Soon, my good happy Hi-Five marathon days would be over! So bye for now! I'm off to watch some more! Oh, and now, at 7pm, I'll point to the TV and say, "Ah Wang!" He's my new favourite character!

Pat-a-dog; shoo-the-cockroach
One day, when my 2 grand dearies brought me for a walk, I chanced upon a neighbour's dog. So nice of him to allow me to pat his pet. I made friends with it!
Talking about pets, last night I came home after dinner from Novena Sq and sat at my magnetic board to play. Among the pile of magnetic toys, I saw something running passed my knee and I freaked out! Mama saw the expression of my face and was between fear and laughter (she couldn't decide which to display though!).
It was a cockroach! I didn't react, just froze there for awhile exactly like what Mama did. But all maternal instinct kicked in when she braved herself to 'rescue' me from that creature! The moment she carried me, I grabbed hold of her with my dear life with trembling fear. Good thing Mama didn't scream (which I think she would want to). If not, I would have cried.
After Mama told me that Papa would catch that blacky, and "throw it away", I felt better. I even showed her the "throwing" action to reinforce my bravery! hahahaha...True enough, when Papa came back from the car park, he rescued us all! Papa, our hero!

family portrait
This is my family portrait! Mama decided to have a casual theme this year. So we were all dressed in denim and white! It seemed easier for the photographer to take nice shots when I was 5 months old. This year, it took her about 1 hr to snap some nice ones. Hmmm...perhaps, simple things like "girl girl, look here!" "mei mei, see teddy bear" and "zhe bian zhe bian" (here here) (try harder) didn't intrigue me as much now.
I was busy being fascinated by the decors in the studio, the computer, chairs, lights, flowers, sofa, and the list goes on. So how to you expect me to FOCUS and SMILE, right?! Sigh, these adults. Sometimes, can't seem to see the world through our little eyes.
Anyways, Mama chose this photo of me pointing to something.
